We are all on the Frontline, risking it all to make sure the sacrifice of our heroes' past isn't in vain. Biafra brought us together; IPOB unites us in purpose. Discipline and determination will guide us through.

MNK in the past has prepared and decorated this global movement of IPOB for a time like this, stressing so much in mental toughness for us to be able to defeat this monster. And that's why the zoo is so afraid of IPOB, not because we're the wealthiest organisation, but because of our dedication, self-discipline, tenacity and determination towards Biafra restoration. MNK foresaw days like this, and without mental toughness, the zoo will highjack and corrupt the communication between IPOB and Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in the DSS dungeon, rendering us in a direction that contravenes our collective push as a movement. We must be brilliant.

And hear me, as long as the leadership of this great movement (DOS) remains on the sole objective of this ideology, heavily piloting 'the day-to-day activities of IPOB' on this solid rock that binds this movement (Code Of Conduct), every of their directive and decision is aimed at the best INTEREST of this movement.

And here we stand. MNK has defeated the zoo in their court as he proclaimed, and the powers that be in the damnable contraption aren't happy with this development and will unleash every mercenary to truncate this hard effort of IPOB, Biafrans and lovers of freedom.  We must be very watchful and ever-ready to decode the antics of the enemy. All of us are fighting, yes, but none of us has paid more sacrifice than those who gave their lives for us to live and have a taste of freedom.

For their sake, men/women have vowed to remain their mouthpiece until Biafra comes. And for their sake, Biafra shall be restored - not because of some of you striking deals with politicians. Only genuine IPOB members understand what's at stake if we fail to restore Biafra, and that's why we'll never retreat or surrender. Imagine labelling men like Great Ikonso 'saboteurs' because we refuse to buy an idea that's contrary to IPOB's code of conduct.

Let's remain focused, PROTECT and abide by the leadership of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) Directorates Of States (DOS).  Ndewoo nu..!

Why IPOB's ESN is a Necessary Response to Insecurity. The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have been at the forefront of advocating for the rights and security of the Igbo people in Nigeria.

In response to the growing insecurity in the region, IPOB has established the Eastern Security Network (ESN) to protect their communities from the ravages of terrorism, banditry, and other forms of violence. Despite facing intense propaganda from their enemies, IPOB's ESN remains a necessary response to the insecurity that has plagued the region for years.

The Security Challenge in the Southeast The Southeast region of Nigeria has been grappling with various security challenges, including kidnapping, armed robbery, and terrorism.

The lack of effective security measures by the Nigerian government has left many communities vulnerable to attacks, leading to the loss of lives and property. In this context, IPOB's decision to establish the ESN is a proactive measure to protect its people and ensure their safety. The Role of ESN in Securing the Region The ESN is a security outfit established by IPOB to provide security for the Igbo people in the Southeast region. The ESN has been instrumental in:

- Protecting communities: The ESN has been working tirelessly to protect communities from attacks by terrorists, bandits, and other armed groups.

- Restoring peace: The ESN has helped to restore peace in many communities, allowing residents to go about their daily activities without fear of attack.

- Promoting stability: The ESN's efforts have contributed to promoting stability in the region, creating an environment conducive to economic growth and development. Addressing the Propaganda Despite the ESN's efforts to secure the region, IPOB and the ESN have faced intense propaganda from their enemies. Some of the propaganda includes:

 - Labelling IPOB as secessionist: Some have labelled IPOB as a secessionist group, seeking to break away from Nigeria. However, IPOB's primary focus is on securing their people and promoting their rights. - Accusing ESN of being a militia: Others have accused the ESN of being a militia group, intent on causing chaos in the region. However, the ESN's mission is to protect their communities, not to engage in violence. The Way Forward. The insecurity in the Southeast region requires a multifaceted approach. While the Nigerian government has a responsibility to provide security for its citizens, IPOB's ESN is a necessary response to the security challenges in the region. To move forward, the following steps can be taken:

- Dialogue and cooperation: The Nigerian government and IPOB should engage in dialogue to address the security challenges in the region and find a mutually beneficial solution.

- Supporting local security initiatives: The government should support local security initiatives, such as the ESN, to promote security and stability in the region.

- Addressing the root causes of insecurity: The government should address the root causes of insecurity, such as poverty, unemployment, and marginalisation, to create a more stable environment. Conclusion: IPOB's ESN is a necessary response to the insecurity that has plagued the Southeast region for years.

Despite the propaganda from their enemies, the ESN remains committed to securing their communities and promoting peace and stability in the region. By working together, the Nigerian government and IPOB can find a solution to the security challenges in the region and create a more secure future for all.

Nigeria's Illegal Abduction And Detention Of Nnamdi Kanu, The Leader Of IPOB, Must End! From the hearts of all of Biafraland, we, the family members of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide, along with all people of Biafra, raise our voices to the world, exposing the egregious and unlawful actions perpetrated against our leader, Nnamdi Kanu, by the Nigerian government and its complicit authorities.

Their tyrannical grip tightens around our brother, a testament to their disdain for international law, human rights, and the very principles of justice. Let the world bear witness: Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was not arrested through any legitimate legal process.

Instead, he was subjected to a barbaric and illegal extraordinary rendition from Kenya, a sovereign nation whose territorial integrity was brazenly violated by Nigerian agents.

Read More@ Our Journey To Eternal Victory

This act of state-sponsored kidnapping was unequivocally condemned by the Nigerian Court of Appeal itself, which rightly declared it a "clear and egregious violation of international law" and Nigerian statutes, demanding his immediate release.

Yet, the Nigerian government, in its characteristic defiance of the rule of law, has chosen to ignore its own judiciary's pronouncements. The United Nations Working Group on Arbitrary Detention has echoed our cries, stating unequivocally that Kanu's detention is illegal, unlawful, and unconstitutional. They have affirmed that our leader was subjected to enforced disappearance, stripped of legal protection, and held in violation of multiple fundamental human rights enshrined in international covenants.

The world must recognise this for what it is: a gross abuse of power and a deliberate assault on the dignity of a man and the aspirations of a people.  We, the Biafra people, through IPOB, are not terrorists.<!> We are a people yearning for our inherent right to self-determination, enshrined in international law, including the African Charter on Human and Peoples' Rights.

Our struggle for freedom and a referendum is a legitimate exercise of our collective will, yet the Nigerian government has responded with brutal oppression, labelling us terrorists and subjecting our leader to inhumane treatment. The continued incarceration of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is not just an attack on one man; it is an assault on the fundamental principles of justice, democracy, and the right of a people to determine their own destiny.

We call upon the international community, world leaders, human rights organisations, and all people of conscience to hold Nigeria accountable for its criminal actions. They have kidnapped our leader, defied their own courts, and ignored the pronouncements of international bodies. We demand the immediate and unconditional release of our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

His continued detention is a stain on the conscience of the world and a dangerous precedent that emboldens authoritarian regimes to trample upon the rights of individuals and the sovereignty of nations. The world must act now to end this injustice and stand in solidarity with the Biafra people in our pursuit of freedom and self-determination. Let our cry for justice resonate across the globe until Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is free and the Nigerian government is held accountable for its illegal and oppressive actions.

Since the inception of IPOB, it has exhibited the sole spirit of freedom for the entire black race embodied with righteousness. That has being the reason the IPOB supreme leader will always emphasize that "IPOB is whiter than white and whiter than snow" with no blemish.

IPOB is a well-structured global movement with its foundation laid on the rock of discipline and resilience, which has invited global envy and jealousy from the neo-colonial governments whose policy and duty is to see Africa in abject poverty till eternity.

And the global community understands that IPOB has remained in the chain of indigenous peoples rights to self-determination as charted by United Nations to advocate for people's rights to self determination across the globe. Despite all unavoidable provocation by the Nigerian state, IPOB and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu have remained steadfast on the lane of peaceful dissemination of the Biafran people's plight and our rights to self determination.

As Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will always say, there's no way a mass global movement like IPOB can exist without the spirit of Ifeajuna, Ukpabi-Asika etc, the spirit of betrayal and sabotage entering some of us. But IPOB in their wisdom have tenaciously placed the enemies of our struggle to where they belong accordingly.

Though the oppressors in the British royal family and their puppets in Aso rock and in Biafraland will always test our resolve, we have and will continue to remain resolute in the face of these pressing challenges and mountains until Biafra is restored and beyond. One thing is certain, the z00logcal republic of Nigeria will never get tired until we force them, unlike 2015 when Onyendu was first kidnapped in Lagos by the DSS and was remanded in prison, before mid-2017 over 2 mushroom groups had already emerged to override IPOB leadership structure and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, but IPOB were able to overcome them all.

IPOB is always 1000 steps ahead of time, all these higher and lower mountains we are encountering today was revealed by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu before he was kidnapped in Kenya and extraordinarily renditioned to Nigeria.<!—adsense--> He prepared our minds for days like this, and that is why we are not perturbed anytime a comrade fail by the way side. Our enemies are not happy, and that's why the more stronger IPOB grows, the more it keep outgrowing some internal enemies, you see them falling away on their own without being touched by anyone.

For the past years, IPOB have fought very gallantly on this journey of black emancipation, that's why you see young revolutionaries springing up across Africa, revolting against the imperialists. Courtesy of IPOB Radio Biafra awareness, the secret remains consistent. Some of you may doubt it, but the awareness IPOB has created in Nigeria will make it possible for the indigenous Hausa people to realise how they've been fooled all these years by the Fụ̀lani invaders thus revolution is imminent in the north, same with every other region entrapped in this British experiment called Nigeria.

IPOB have fought a good fight, the victory is ours just waiting for our crown of victory. So we must remain focused and resolute against detractors and distractions. We have a Greater goal other than discussing irrelevant defeated zoo agents. Just bear in mind that IPOB is a very big institution, if we were able to fight the almighty BBC to a standstill, know that the fire force of IPOB is top-notch. And we must remain unshaken, for the glory we seek in one sight.

God bless IPOB, the Directorates of States and the Eastern Security Network.

Biafra: Securing the Homeland: Unpacking the Truth About the Eastern Security Network (ESN) and Its Achievements in Protecting Southeast Nigeria (2020-2022)

■ Writer: Ezekwereogu Odinaka

■ Twitter:@umuchiukwu

■05.03.2025

The Eastern Security Network (ESN) has been the subject of controversy and misinformation in recent times.

The Nigerian government and some media outlets have labelled the ESN a “criminal” organization, sparking widespread condemnation and concern. However, it is essential to examine the facts and context surrounding the ESN to understand its true nature and objectives.

Contextualizing the ESN The ESN was established by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) as a regional security outfit to protect the southeastern region of Nigeria from insecurity and violence. The IPOB leadership argued that the Nigerian government had failed to provide adequate security for the area, leaving it vulnerable to attacks from armed groups and bandits.

Objectives of the ESN The primary purpose of the ESN is to provide security and protection for the people of the Southeast. They aim to achieve this by: 1. Patrolling the region – ESN operatives patrol forests, roads, and communities to prevent attacks and crimes. 2. Protecting lives and property – The ESN works to safeguard lives and property, particularly in rural areas where government security presence is minimal.

Read More, Unmasking the Truth: Exposing the Staged “Unknown Gunmen Camp” in Anambra

3. Collaborating with local communities – The ESN engages with local communities to gather intelligence and respond to security concerns. Achievements of the ESN Since its inception in 2020, the ESN has made significant strides in securing the region and reducing insecurity.

Some notable achievements include: • December 2020 – The ESN successfully repelled an attack by armed herdsmen in the Orlu area of Imo State, protecting local farmers and communities. • February 2021 – The ESN collaborated with local vigilantes to apprehend a group of kidnappers along the Abia State axis of the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway. • April 2021 – The ESN launched a successful operation to flush out bandits from the forests of Ebonyi State, restoring peace and security to the affected communities. • June 2021 – The ESN worked with the Anambra State government to establish a joint security task force, which has been instrumental in reducing crime and insecurity in the state. • August 2021 – The ESN foiled an attempted attack by unknown gunmen in the Ihiala area of Anambra State, protecting lives and property. • October 2021 – The ESN collaborated with the Imo State government to launch a security operation that led to the arrest of several notorious criminals and the recovery of stolen vehicles. • January 2022 – The ESN successfully repelled an attack by armed herdsmen in the Okigwe area of Imo State, once again protecting local farmers and communities.

Challenging the “Criminal” Label Labeling the ESN as a “criminal” organization is both misleading and unjust.

While it is possible that some individuals may have engaged in unlawful activities, it is crucial to distinguish between the actions of a few and the overall objectives of the ESN. Furthermore, the Nigerian government’s response to the ESN has been heavy-handed, with reports of human rights abuses, extrajudicial killings, and arbitrary arrests. Such actions have only escalated tensions and contributed to greater insecurity in the region.

Conclusion The ESN is not a “criminal” organization but rather a regional security outfit established to protect the people of the Southeast. Its achievements in securing the region and safeguarding communities demonstrate its commitment to peace and security.

By reframing the narrative surrounding the ESN and acknowledging its legitimate objectives, a more constructive path toward regional stability can be achieved. The continued mischaracterization of the ESN as a criminal entity only serves to perpetuate violence and mistrust. It is time to challenge this narrative and seek solutions that foster lasting peace and security in Southeast Nigeria.

Biafra: Restoring Hope: Why Nigeria Needs a New Approach to Tackling Corruption

The assertion that Nigeria’s corrupt politicians and police officers should be handled the “Chinese way” implies the need for a stricter and more decisive approach to combating corruption. While China’s methods often characterized by swift and severe punishments may not directly apply to Nigeria, the urgency for a radical transformation in Nigeria’s fight against corruption remains indisputable.

The Deep-Rooted Corruption in Nigeria Corruption is one of Nigeria’s greatest impediments to progress. The police force, an institution meant to uphold justice and security, has been deeply compromised. Senior officers embezzle public funds while lower-ranking officers frequently engage in bribery, extortion, and abuse of power.

This has led to a complete erosion of public trust, making law enforcement a symbol of oppression rather than protection. The situation is equally dire in the political sphere. Corrupt politicians continue to loot public funds with impunity, diverting resources meant for national development into personal accounts.

As a result, essential infrastructure and social services remain underfunded and ineffective, perpetuating poverty, inequality, and economic stagnation. A Multifaceted Approach to Fighting Corruption Nigeria cannot afford to maintain the status quo. A comprehensive and strategic approach is necessary to dismantle corruption at all levels. This requires: 1. Strengthening Institutions A strong, independent judicial and anti-corruption system is essential.

Also Read. Unmasking the Truth: Exposing the Staged “Unknown Gunmen Camp” in Anambra

Law enforcement agencies must be empowered to investigate, prosecute, and convict corrupt officials without interference. Institutions like the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) must be insulated from political manipulation. 2. Improving Transparency The government must embrace total financial transparency, ensuring that public funds are tracked in real time.

A publicly accessible budget tracking system should be implemented, allowing citizens and watchdog organizations to monitor government expenditures. 3. Enforcing Accountability with Severe Consequences Without strict consequences, corruption will persist.

Those guilty of embezzling public funds must face harsh legal penalties, including imprisonment and complete asset forfeiture. Corrupt officials should be permanently barred from holding public office. 4. Public Engagement and Civil Society Action The fight against corruption cannot be left to the government alone. Civil society organizations, the media, and the general public must play an active role in exposing corrupt practices, demanding accountability, and pushing for policy reforms.

The Grim Reality: Is Nigeria Beyond Saving? Despite these proposed measures, many argue that Nigeria’s deep-rooted corruption makes genuine reform impossible. The system is plagued with nepotism, political interference, and a culture of impunity, making meaningful change seem like a distant dream.

As long as those in power prioritize self-interest over national progress, corruption will continue to cripple Nigeria’s potential. At this stage, the only real hope lies in the collective will of the people. If Nigerians unite to demand transparency, accountability, and justice, change however difficult remains possible. Otherwise, Nigeria will remain trapped in a cycle of destruction, with its citizens bearing the brunt of a corrupt and failing system.

Introduction Recent reports have surfaced claiming the discovery of an “unknown gunmen camp” in Anambra State. However, upon closer examination, several inconsistencies raise doubts about the authenticity of these claims.

This article aims to critically analyze the situation and highlight key questions that challenge the official narrative. The Official Narrative According to reports, the camp was allegedly uncovered by security operatives, particularly the “Agu na Eche Mba” group, which was established by Governor Charles Soludo.

The official account suggests that this group has been working diligently to combat insecurity in the state. A Critical Examination Despite these claims, a deeper analysis reveals several red flags.

Also Read, The Landmine Ruse: Unmasking the Orsu Initiative Group’s True Intentions

The discovery of the camp appears highly convenient, and the lack of transparency surrounding the operation is concerning. Moreover, the direct involvement of the “Agu na Eche Mba” group, an entity linked to Governor Soludo, raises critical questions about possible political motivations behind the operation.

An Alternative Perspective There is a strong possibility that the alleged discovery of the camp was staged to justify the existence of the “Agu na Eche Mba” group and to enhance Governor Soludo’s security credentials. If true, this would not be the first time security operations have been manipulated for political advantage. Conclusion While discovering an “unknown gunmen camp” in Anambra State might initially appear to be a positive development, it is essential to scrutinize the narrative critically.

The lack of transparency, the political connections of the security group involved, and the potential for manipulation all cast doubt on the authenticity of these claims. Ultimately, independent investigations and verifiable evidence are crucial to uncovering the truth.

The Orsu Initiative Group’s recent appeal to the federal government to clear alleged hidden landmines in Imo communities appears to be a calculated attempt to manipulate public opinion and justify further military intervention in the region.

A critical analysis of the group’s statement raises several red flags. Firstly, there is no verifiable evidence to substantiate the claim that landmines are hidden in these communities. Their assertion is based on uncorroborated rumours and hearsay—an unreliable foundation for calling on federal authorities to intervene. Secondly, the timing of this appeal is highly suspicious, coinciding with the aftermath of the military’s controversial “Operation Python Dance.” This operation, widely condemned by human rights organizations, led to extensive destruction and the forced displacement of innocent civilians.

Also Read, Detained Without Justice: Unpacking the Judicial Misconduct and Extraordinary Rendition in Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s Case

The Orsu Initiative Group is attempting to exploit the trauma and fear instilled by the military’s previous actions to justify renewed intervention. By fabricating a narrative around hidden landmines, the group appears to be creating a pretext for the military’s re-entry into the region, thereby enabling further repression and violence. The people of Imo communities deserve better than to be used as pawns in a larger political game.

Instead of succumbing to the Orsu Initiative Group’s deceptive rhetoric, the focus should be on holding the military and government accountable for their actions while pursuing a peaceful and just resolution to the ongoing crisis.

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has been in detention since his repatriation to Nigeria from Kenya in June 2021. His detention has been marred by controversy, and the handling of his case has raised serious concerns about judicial misconduct and extraordinary rendition.

Background Kanu’s repatriation to Nigeria was shrouded in secrecy, with the Nigerian government denying any involvement. However, reports later emerged that Kanu was arrested in Kenya and extradited to Nigeria. This move was widely condemned by human rights groups and IPOB supporters, who argued that Kanu’s rights had been violated.

Extraordinary Rendition Kanu’s extradition from Kenya to Nigeria is a classic example of extraordinary rendition—the practice of transferring a person from one country to another without following proper legal procedures. This practice is often used by governments to circumvent human rights laws and detain individuals without trial.

Also Read, Biafra: Judiciary to the Rescue: Upholding Justice and Protecting Human Rights in Nigeria

In Kanu’s case, the Nigerian government allegedly collaborated with the Kenyan government to arrest and detain him without following the proper extradition procedures. This is a clear violation of his human rights and a blatant disregard for the rule of law. Judicial Misconduct Since his detention, Kanu’s case has been characterized by gross judicial misconduct. Some key examples include:

1. Denial of Bail – Despite repeated applications, Kanu has been denied bail by the court, even though bail is a constitutional right in Nigeria.

2. Delayed Trial – His trial has been postponed multiple times, with the court granting numerous adjournments at the request of the prosecution. This has resulted in Kanu spending months in detention without trial.

3. Lack of Transparency – The court has failed to ensure transparency in its handling of Kanu’s case. For instance, details of the charges and evidence against him have not been made public.

4. Disregard for Human Rights – The court has ignored Kanu’s fundamental rights, including his right to a fair trial and freedom from arbitrary detention.

Conclusion The handling of Nnamdi Kanu’s case is a clear example of judicial misconduct and extraordinary rendition. The denial of bail, repeated trial delays, lack of transparency, and blatant disregard for human rights all highlight a systemic failure within the Nigerian justice system. Moreover, the use of extraordinary rendition to detain Kanu without trial violates international human rights standards and undermines the rule of law.

The Nigerian government and judiciary must immediately address these concerns and ensure that Kanu receives a fair and just trial.

Nigeria’s judiciary is at a critical juncture, faced with the daunting task of upholding justice and protecting human rights. The recent abduction of Igbo people by Nigerian security agents, as reported by Amnesty International, serves as a stark reminder of the judiciary’s vital role in safeguarding citizens’ rights.

The judiciary’s ability to uphold justice and protect human rights is essential for maintaining social order and promoting democratic values. However, the Nigerian judiciary has faced numerous challenges, including corruption, incompetence, and executive interference, which have undermined its independence and integrity.

The case of the Igbo people’s abduction is particularly disturbing. Amnesty International has reported that Nigerian security agents have been responsible for the enforced disappearance of hundreds of people in the southeastern region, with many of these cases remaining unresolved. The judiciary must take decisive action to address these human rights abuses and ensure that those responsible are held accountable.

Also Read.Biafra: Controversy Surrounds Appeal Court Judgment on IPOB's Proscription

To regain public trust and confidence, the judiciary must assert its independence, tackle corruption, and prioritize citizens’ rights. This includes ensuring that all citizens have access to legal representation, regardless of their economic or social status. The judiciary must also take steps to address the systemic challenges facing the institution, including inadequate funding, poor infrastructure, and limited resources.

The National Judicial Council (NJC) has taken steps to promote judicial independence, discipline, and accountability. However, more needs to be done to address the systemic challenges facing the judiciary. Increased funding and resource allocation are essential to support the operations and modernization of the judiciary.

In Conclusion, The Nigerian judiciary has a critical role to play in upholding justice and protecting human rights. The recent abduction of Igbo people by Nigerian security agents is a stark reminder of the judiciary’s vital role in safeguarding citizens’ rights. The judiciary must take decisive action to address these human rights abuses and ensure that those responsible are held accountable.

Recommendations for Judicial Reform

•Assert Independence: The judiciary must assert its independence and impartiality, free from executive interference and political pressure.

•Tackle Corruption: The judiciary must take decisive steps to address corruption within its ranks, ensuring transparent and accountable processes.

•Prioritize Citizens’ Rights: The judiciary must prioritize protecting citizens’ rights, providing access to justice, and ensuring fair treatment for all.

•Improve Infrastructure: Adequate funding should be allocated to improve court infrastructure, technology, and facilities.

•Enhance Transparency: Measures like public access to court records, live streaming of proceedings, and performance evaluation should be implemented to enhance transparency and accountability in the judiciary.

By implementing these recommendations, the Nigerian judiciary can take a significant step towards regaining public trust and confidence, upholding justice, and protecting human rights.

Allegations of Bias and Corruption Raise Questions About Justice The recent judgment by the Nigerian Appeal Court, upholding the proscription of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) as a terrorist group, has sparked widespread controversy and outrage.

The decision, handed down by Justices Hamma Akawu Barka, O.E. Abang, and O.O. Oyewumi on January 30, 2025, has been met with fierce criticism from human rights groups, lawyers, and members of the public, who question the impartiality and fairness of the ruling. Allegations of Bias and Corruption Justices O.E. Abang and O.O. Oyewumi have previously faced serious allegations of bias and corruption.

Abang has been accused of delivering judgments that consistently favour the government, while Oyewumi has been criticized for handling high-profile cases. On July 12, 2017, Justice Abang was accused of bias in a high-profile case involving former Governor Nyesom Wike. His decision was widely criticized, with many arguing that it was influenced by external factors. Similarly, Justice Oyewumi has faced criticism for handling cases involving human rights activists and opposition figures.

On February 22, 2019, he was accused of disregarding the constitutional rights of the accused and delivering a judgment widely seen as unfair in the case of prominent human rights activist Omoyele Sowore. Implications of the Judgment The ruling upholding IPOB’s proscription as a terrorist group has far-reaching consequences for the people of the Southeast region and IPOB members. The proscription has been used to justify human rights abuses, including arbitrary arrests, detention, and extrajudicial killings. Many argue that the judgment is a clear attempt by the government to silence opposition voices and suppress dissent.

The proscription of IPOB has been widely condemned by human rights groups, who argue that it violates the organization’s fundamental rights to freedom of association and expression. Conclusion The Appeal Court’s decision to uphold IPOB’s proscription as a terrorist group raises serious concerns about the integrity of the judiciary and the government’s commitment to human rights.

The allegations of bias and corruption against the judges, combined with the far-reaching implications of the judgment, have created a sense of unease and distrust among the public. As Nigeria continues to grapple with issues of justice and accountability, the judiciary must remain impartial and fair in its decisions.

The Nigerian people deserve a judiciary that is independent, unbiased, and committed to upholding the rule of law while protecting human rights.

The Nigerian judicial system is at a critical juncture, faced with the daunting task of upholding justice and protecting human rights.

The proscription of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) as a terrorist organization is a contentious issue that has sparked heated debates and raised concerns about the erosion of fundamental freedoms. The Illegality Of Proscription The Enugu State High Court has already ruled that the proscription of IPOB by the South-East Governors' Forum in 2017 was illegal, unconstitutional, and null and void. This landmark judgment underscores the importance of upholding the rule of law and protecting the rights of citizens.

The judicial system must ensure that any actions taken by the government or other authorities are in line with the Constitution and do not infringe on individual liberties. The Right To Self-Determination IPOB's leader, Nnamdi Kanu, has argued that the organization is advocating for the right to self-determination, which is a fundamental human right. The judicial system must recognise and protect this right, rather than labelling it as a terrorist activity. By doing so, the judiciary can promote peaceful resolution of conflicts and prevent the escalation of violence.

The Dangers Of Labeling Labeling IPOB as a terrorist organization can have far-reaching consequences, including the erosion of trust in the government and the judicial system. It can also lead to the marginalization of certain groups and the perpetuation of violence. The judicial system must exercise caution and ensure that any labelling or proscription is based on credible evidence and is in line with international human rights standards.

International Implications. The proscription of IPOB has also raised concerns internationally, with many organizations and countries expressing concerns about the erosion of human rights in Nigeria. The judicial system must take into account these international implications and ensure that its decisions are in line with international human rights law. The Way Forward.

The Nigerian judicial system has a critical role to play in promoting justice, protecting human rights, and upholding the rule of law. In the case of IPOB, the judiciary must: 1. Uphold the rule of law: Ensure that any actions taken by the government or other authorities are in line with the constitution and do not infringe on individual liberties. 2. Protect human rights: Recognize and protect the right to self-determination and other fundamental human rights.

3. Promote peaceful resolution: Encourage peaceful resolution of conflicts and prevent the escalation of violence. 4. Ensure transparency and accountability: Ensure that all decisions and actions are transparent and accountable to the public. By taking these steps, the Nigerian judicial system can demonstrate its commitment to justice, human rights, and the rule of law.

It is no longer news that Igbo Biafrans are given until the end of August 2024 to leave Lagos and the entire southwest Nigeria or be forced out and their businesses and properties destroyed or forcefully revoked or taken over by the Indigenous

You can recall that in the past similar threats and quit notices have been given to the Igbo people in the north with no one being arrested and prosecuted for threatening the lives and properties of the Igbo people in a country they call their own.

The Igbo people of Biafra are being threatened and harassed in every part of Nigeria without anyone held responsible or punished for endangering the lives and properties of over fifty million people.

Sometime last year 2023 a man who is not a security personnel came on social media threatening the Igbo people and brandishing an AK47 riffle and nothing happened to him just because he is a friend to the president and he does his dirty illegal dealings for him.

The Igbo people are being threatened even in our region, Igboland is threatened with the military taking over our roads and streets like we are in a war zone or are a conquered people. Drivers are being extorted at every military and police checkpoint while passengers and other road users are forced to trek a long distance to meet their buses or vehicles as they are not expected to ride their bikes and go past a checkpoint or be in their passenger buses as they go through a police or military checkpoint in any of the Igbo States.

The Igbo people of Biafraland are being disgraced and treated like they are foreigners or slaves in Nigeria a country they call their own.

Since the creation of Nigeria by the British the Igbo people have been treated with disdain, and disrespect and treated like slaves.

The IPOB Agitation.

The threats, killings, and destructions of people and their businesses and properties are the reasons that IPOB became a necessity.

The Nigerian state from every successive government has failed to protect Ndi Igbo and all that belongs to them.

There have been several massacres of Ndị Igbo residents in the North, West, and all other parts of Nigeria starting from the Jos massacre of 1945 the people have been killed at little or no provocation by other parts of Nigeria where they reside and in some cases, their properties are forcefully taken from them as abandoned property in their country.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the IPOB are on a rescue mission to save the IGBO Race and to deliver the entire Biafraland from the British government-sponsored Fulani caliphate.

It became necessary for the birth of IPOB because the Igbo needed a rallying point to fight for their survival and fate in the British contraption called Nigeria.

The call for a Biafra Referendum by the IPOB is the safest way to achieving peace and giving the Nigeria situation a permanent solution where we can still live side by side as neighbours respecting each other's values and system and prosper with each other in a healthy competitive environment.

The IPOB should be embraced by the US, UN, British, and Nigerian governments to bring a permanent solution peacefully to the waiting to EXPLODE Nigeria case.

The people of Biafra are not asking to take any people's territory all we are asking for is the chance for self-determination, we want to vote in a Referendum to determine our fate in Nigeria, we are tired of being killed and treated as strangers, slaves in Nigeria a country we were forced into by the British.

Dear participants it's a great pleasure and honour to be gathered here today for the first AES summit heads of state, we are grateful to God I would also like to pay tribute to the people of Niger, who have suffered greatly since the advent of the CNSP, and yet remains resilient you are more than friends and neighbours, you are our brothers and sisters, we share the same blood of the brave warriors who fought and reserved the land, we now call Mali, Burkina, and Niger, our blood also carries the legacy of those warriors who helped the world rid itself of nazism and other scourges, it carries the blood of those who were enslaved and contributed to the construction of different nations, we should be proud of our heritage and grateful to be citizens of AES.

Africa our continent has suffered so much and continues to suffer because of imperialism, these imperialists have only one cliche in mind, Africa is the Empire of slaves, this is how they see Africa, for them Africans belong to them, our lands belong to them, our subsoil belongs to them, they have never been able to change the logic until today, this is deplorable, they have just placed local valets at the head, according to them of their sub-prefecture to be able to continue to feed them, these local valets which we are going to call today the slaves of the salon have other goals, they want to live like the master, to satisfy the master and to do everything that the master dictates to them.

They plunder our states, they bring everything to the master, and their wealth is kept with the master, they do everything to live like the master and always satisfy him, do you know who these slaves of the salon are?

Well, we are going to explain to you what they are.

They are individuals who have no dignity, who have no morals, who have no personality, but the master slaves have always known how to identify these individuals, they are always ready to betray their brother to satisfy the master.

They have betrayed us since our independence and others continue to betray us to the benefit of their masters, these individuals continue against all odds to help the master plunder Africa.

They have sent several mercenaries and trainers to our area, and the agents have descended into the Sahel to carry out brutal cowardly attacks against our people, hoping to revolt against them, in addition to these attacks on the ground, the attacks on communication, manipulation and disinformation are full in their ranks, but the people of the Sahel have understood, and we will never be able to be manipulated again, they know where they come from, they know what they are doing, and they know where they are going.

We will no longer allow this, people are awake and people are fighting today not for ourselves, but for future generations, thank you all for the fight that is being fought, this will never make us cry, we will not tremble, we will fight for real independence, for our freedom.

To scare the people of the Sahel, these individuals have only three terms in their mouths, Democracy, Freedom and Human Rights, of course, their local values are only elected in a democratic free, and transparent process according to their values, what is more, normal that we want to impose this on ourselves, because it is they who addict the rules, very well we have decided to take responsibility.

Do you know why on June 26th, 2023 when Niger decided to turn the page, the slaves of salon and their masters got on the big horses, they put their local values forward and decided to wage a war against the Nigerian people, so we said, anyone who dares to take up arms against Niger will face us, because we will wage a relentless war until the last drop of blood for anyone who dares to attack our states, this word, this decision we made yesterday, is current today and will be current tomorrow and forever.

Thus we acquired the "AES" on September 16th, 2023 in a mutual defence architecture, but we felt it necessary to extend and therefore enlarge the "AES" architecture, what brings us together today must allow us to go to other areas in addition to defence, including finance, economy, infrastructure, health and education, so I hope that this moment will be for us a story that we will write for the "AES" but especially for Africa and for the whole world.

What a nice and eloquent speech from Ibrahim Traore. the seed of Thomas Sankara is here to blossom, all hail Mama Africa my captain, for it is our time to regain power and return our land, viva mama Africa, viva Africans, slaughtering Thomas Sankara was a grave mistake taken too far by western world, so does killing comrade Gaddafi and Pan Africanists were, soon Africa as a whole will be liberated with full force, that I can assure you, that we will never be slaves no more.

That we must articulate the Bob Marley lyrics of Africa Unite.

'Cause we're moving right out of Babylon

And we're going to our Father's land, yeah

How good and how pleasant it would be

Before God and man, yeah

To see the unification of all Africans, yeah

As it's been said already, let it be done, yeah

We are the children of the Rastaman
