A new state called Biafra will soon be declared, and the creation of Biafra will pose problems to the corrupt foundations that have held down Africa, responsible for us not to develop and join other parts of the world in the scientific development, economic and technological progress.

The coming of Biafra will change everything about Africa from negative to positive, the healthy economic competition will be activated immediately and the industrialisation revolution of Africa will kick off with delay, it will be better said that Africa is waiting for the coming of Biafra to come back to life.

In the history of post-colonial Africa, no country has suffered a more tragic experience than the Indigenous people of Biafra. After almost twenty years of gradual constitutional evolution through relatively orderly processes of conferences and negotiations, the structure of constitutional agreement collapsed, the army was broken into regional groups, and citizens of the Eastern region origin fled other parts and regions of the country during a series of massacres and pogrom, particularly in the North which produces a migration of hundreds of thousands of persons down to the East, the central government lost the effective authority over the Eastern region, because of their inability to protect them when it mattered most and when orderly processes of negotiations were suspended, the Eastern region sought it's own security and survival by declaring its Independence shortly after which the central government sought to re-establish its authority in the area by declaring war upon a people who were still nursing their wounds and injuries.
The genocidal war, which lasted two and one-half years, produced over three million casualties from the military bombing of civilian populated areas, rape, disease and starvation which was mostly of the Igbo tribe. (Biafrans)

The daily increase in the death of children caused by starvation orchestrated by the British government, advised by Obafemi Awolowo and enforced by the Yakubu Gowon led Nigeria government made the Biafran leader General Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu leave the country and allowed his second in command General Philip Effiong to hand over to general Olusegun Obasanjo of the Nigerian troops in January 1970.

During his reception of the Biafran leaders led by General Effiong in Lagos Yakubu Gowon declared no victor no vanquished with his initiation of the three Rs of Reconciliation, Rehabilitation, and Reconstruction which never saw the light of day.
The immediate issues of the war were resolved in favour of one Nigeria, but the implications of these issues reached beyond political boundaries.

IPOB is a laser beam focused on the restoration of the sovereign State of Biafra and will never be distracted for the fact that we responded to those who are trying to drag our name in the mud is not an indication that we are losing focus.
IPOB has an open door policy to anyone and any organization that is genuine in the pursuit of the undiluted and holistic quest for the restoration of the nation of Biafra.

We have been killed, tortured, arrested, kidnapped, unlawfully imprisoned and subjected to all manner and forms of inhumane treatments in the hands of one Nigeria, we have made huge sacrifices for the cause of Biafra restoration and this very reason we, therefore, enjoin every Indigenous person of Biafra both home and in the diaspora to remain resolute, and formidable, IPOB will never relent in the pursuit of the Biafra restoration and freedom.
We have crossed the rubicon in our struggle for the freedom of Biafran sovereignty, there is no going back no matter the level of intimidation by our oppressors.
